Luke Jones hosts news programmes for the BBC World Service and the Times’s flagship news podcast The Story.

He was nominated Best Presenter at the British Podcast Awards 2025 for his critically acclaimed hit podcast series The Pitcairn Trials.

Luke studied English Literature at King’s College London before training at BBC News.

‍

He reported for and presented editions of The World at One, PM, and Broadcasting House on Radio 4. He also hosted Saturday Live, Front Row and Any Questions.

‍

In the summer of 2020 he helped launch Times Radio as the host of Breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

He has written for The Sunday Times Magazine, The Times and The Daily Mail.
